Faculty members are responsible for the following: teaching assigned classes to a diverse student body in classroom, lab, and field settings combined with online course management and/or within an online/hybrid model; developing curriculum; preparing teaching materials; developing and assessing student learning outcomes to evaluate student work; assigning grades; maintaining required records; and advising and consulting with students to support their success. Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to speak in public and with students, community members, tribal communities, faculty, and colleagues Strong organization skills, with the ability to organize, inventory, maintain, and repair lab and field equipmentWashington Driver¿s License, insurance, and a good driving record PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is typically performed in a classroom, office, or online from home and requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
