<h5>Job Title </h5><p>Essential Job Functions: </p><ul><li>Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times. </li><li>Follow the proper procedures of packaging a customer's order and adhere to the company's policies outlined in the bagging manual. </li><li>Fill bag racks </li><li>Unload shopping carts for customers. </li><li>Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end. </li><li>Assist cashiers in checking out customers as efficiently as possible. </li><li>Retrieve stray carts from parking lot. </li><li>Keep work station and all areas around work station neat and clean. </li><li>Assist in stocking of milk and eggs. </li><li>Assist customers in locating product. </li><li>Never carry on a conversation with another associate while bagging an order. </li><li>Know and understand the ValuCard program and be able to explain it. </li><li>Assist in sweeping and mopping all areas of store. </li><li>Keep bathrooms neat and clean. </li><li>Assist in keeping parking lot and shopping carts litter free. </li><li>Work parcel pick-up area as directed. </li><li>Replace misplaced items to the proper location. </li><li>Collect trash and bale boxes and needed. </li><li>Proper usage of intercom. </li><li>Know and understand shelf tags in order to assist in price changes. </li><li>Stock merchandise. </li><li>Others duties may be assigned as needed. </li></ul><p>Benefits of working for Food City: </p><p>401(k) with company match, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Weekly Pay Checks with Direct Deposit, Company paid Life and Disability Insurance, Medical Plan with wellness benefits, Dental Plan, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacations, Associate Offers, and so much more! </p><p>About Food City: </p><p>Food City is a privately held, family-owned company with a driving mission to "run the best store in town."
