Description JOB FUNCTION: As a Grocery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your expertise in stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers is essential in helping us maintain our reputation for exceptional customer service. Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li> Provide outstanding customer service </li><li> Clean and sanitize daily </li><li> Cashier duties include checking out customers and operating a POS (Point of Sale) system </li><li> Unload product off of the truck to be stocked on shelves </li><li> Stock shelves with products for customers to purchase </li><li> Properly price and display product signs </li><li> Sack groceries and provide "to your car" carry out service </li><li> Record and report accurate inventory counts </li><li> Assist all customers in their shopping </li><li> Potential to perform E-Commerce Duties, such as picking customer orders correctly, bagging the orders, and taking orders to customer vehicles </li><li> Other duties as assigned </li></ul>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must be at least 16 years old or older</li><li> Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings </li><li> Ability to work in a fast paced environment </li><li> Ability to work with others </li><li> Good interpersonal skills </li><li> Good verbal communication skills </li><li> Basic math skills are required </li><li> Previous experience in the grocery business or a related field is helpful but not required </li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:<ul><li>On feet up to 8+ hours per day </li><li>Repetitive lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting </li><li>Frequently lift 0-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds </li></ul> WORK ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>Exposure to varying temperatures and inclement weather </li></ul>BENEFITS:<ul><li> Sundays Off </li><li> Paid Holidays </li><li> Paid Time Off </li><li> Flexible Scheduling </li><li> Employee Discount </li><li> Weekly Pay </li><li> On-the-job, paid training </li><li> Casual Uniforms (Retail) </li></ul> *EOE
