If you're enthusiastic, service-minded, and interested in building a strong foundation for a career in banking, this is a fantastic opportunity to start your journey.Essential Functions:<ul><li>Provide support to retail branch staff within the assigned footprint.</li><li>Greet customers and prospective customers in a warm, professional manner that reflects our established service standards.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by processing financial transactions accurately and professionally.</li><li>Maintain responsibility for a cash drawer and follow established balancing procedures.</li><li>Assist with daily branch operations, including processing night deposits, handling ATM deposits, and supporting vault, ATM, cash recycler, cash advance machine, and other operational needs.</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.</li><li>Ensure adherence to security, audit, and compliance procedures.</li><li>Follow all established bank policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and complete assigned compliance training.</li><li>Build knowledge of bank products and services.</li><li>Introduce customers to alternative banking channels such as ATMs/ITMs and digital banking tools.</li><li>Identify customer needs and refer them to the appropriate team member or business partner.</li><li>Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
A Teller is responsible to create and deliver a positive customer experience while conducting financial transactions. This position requires an individual with a positive attitude, who is a team player, and who is able to actively listen for customer financial needs in order to refer them to the appropriate bank product or bank representative. A Teller must be able to adapt well to the changing workplace environment such as customer service complaints; maintain the security of customer information; prioritize items of significance; and maintain responsibility for assigned cash drawer. Essential Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions (i.e. cashing checks, handling deposits/withdrawals, etc.) with a professional attitude</li><li>Actively listen for potential sales opportunities to promote specific bank products and services, and refer customers accordingly</li><li>Conduct customer transactions with accuracy and prepare daily cash balancing within established guidelines</li><li>Ability to understand direction and adhere to established policies and procedures</li><li>Other related duties as assigned or directed</li><li>Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner</li><li>May be called upon to travel to other branches in the area to provide support as needed and to ensure proper staffing levels</li></ul>
