Schedule Notes:10 hour shifts- Evenings and nights Days of the week rotate to include weekends and holidays 13 weeks contract Skills: Certification by the State of California, Department of Health Services, as a Radiologic Technologist Satisfactory completion of formal computed tomography training program (one year) or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred Possession and maintenance of a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card Appointees not possessing the BLS card must successfully complete appropriate training and qualify for the BLS card within 60 days of employment ARRT Knowledge of computed tomography techniques, methods, operation and care of equipment; knowledge of structural and organic anatomy; must maintain proficiency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first-aid; knowledge of acute care hospital procedures; ability to work within guidelines set by section head without supervision; ability to schedule workload, maintain records and files; ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and staff.
