Mitigation Manager  The Mitigation Project Manager works within our Emergency Services (Mitigation) Department. The Mitigation PM is responsible for ensuring team culture, growth and development of the mitigation business, department, and staff.      $70,000-$85,000 per year plus commission                 RESPONSIBILITES: <ul><li>Management and delegation of Mitigation Department staff, including emergency services and contents </li><li>Recruit, train and coach Mitigation Department staff and (Labor, Mitigation Crew Leaders and Coordinators)</li><li>Set goals for each team member that can be explained and measured; conduct annual, mid year and 90 day performance reviews with staff </li><li>Participate in the hiring process </li><li>Approve hourly employees time cards on a weekly basis </li><li>Conduct monthly staff meetings </li><li>Use tools and reporting to budget and margin results (50%)</li><li>Drive response and urgency</li><li>Maintain morale and engagement</li><li>Recruit vendors and subcontractors; ensure subcontractor compliance</li><li>Responsible for Resource Management of the following:<ul><li>Movement, care, and inventory of equipment in the warehouse and on jobsites </li><li>Tracking of assets (equipment)</li><li>Dispatching of Technicians </li><li>On Call Schedule </li><li>Vehicle Maintenance </li><li>Staffing needs </li></ul></li><li>Complete estimates for Mitigation losses </li><li>Review estimates written by Mitigation Crew Leaders </li><li>Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers </li><li>Maintain and create good relationship with insurance carriers and vendors</li><li>Auditing of customer service complaints  </li><li>Manage and exceed expectations for job profit </li><li>Ensure production meets the set Gross Profit goals </li><li>Collection of payment from closed jobs</li><li>Monitor and address safety issues and practice safety practices including proper PPE  </li><li>Follow the Paul Davis Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving Basics </li><li>Marketing and sales of your company’s services to current and potential client base, insurance carriers, and industry professionals </li><li>Collect Accounts Receivable</li><li>Attend industry related trainings </li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <ul><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)</li><li>Extensive knowledge of estimation software </li><li>Extensive Knowledge of emergency services within the restoration industry  </li><li>Customer Service Skills </li><li>Communication skills </li><li>Administration skills </li><li>Coaching and leadership skills </li><li>Effective meeting skills </li><li>Strategic Planning skills </li><li>Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems:  RMS, Xactimate, Luxor, Sage, Contractor Connection, ADP, SharePoint, and One Drive</li><li>Ability to create documents and invoices</li><li>Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Ability to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame </li><li>Ability to oversee a staff of up to twenty employees </li><li>Stress Management and Composure </li><li>Maintain a level of confidentiality </li></ul>Required Education and Experience: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Two plus years’ experience in a Management or Leadership role within the Restoration Industry </li><li>Five plus years’ experience within the Emergency Services Department within the Restoration Industry</li><li>Experience with writing Emergency Services (Mitigation) estimates </li></ul>Preferred Education and Experience:  <ul><li>Associate Degree or bachelor’s Degree </li><li>IICRC certifications </li></ul>Physical Requirement <ul><li>Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time </li><li>The person in this position needs to frequently move about client’s properties to complete estimates and oversee completion of jobs </li><li>Constantly operates a computer </li><li>Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to face  </li><li>Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs</li><li>Ability to safely operate a company vehicle  </li></ul>Make an impact now: Paul Davis is proud of our 56-year heritage serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
