<p><strong>Arkansas Talent Group is searching for our client's next District Controller!</strong></p><p>This is a high-impact leadership role supporting a growing, multi-location operation across Northern Arkansas and Louisiana. The District Controller will oversee accounting functions for several operating sites while partnering closely with operational leadership to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. <strong>This position is based in-office in Heber Springs, AR </strong>and supports locations including Heber Springs, Beebe, Ash Flat, Cherokee Village, Harrison, and Gassville.  <strong><em>This is not a remote or hybrid position.</em></strong></p><p>Are you ready to take ownership of a full-cycle accounting environment while acting as a true business partner to operations? This role offers the opportunity to lead, influence, and grow within a dynamic and supportive organization that values accountability, collaboration, and career development.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li> Lead month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and balance sheets for multiple locations </li><li> Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy across all entities </li><li> Develop and maintain monthly forecasts and financial projections </li><li> Provide detailed variance analysis comparing actuals to budget and forecast </li><li> Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes </li><li> Ensure internal controls are properly implemented and functioning effectively </li><li> Support and participate in annual budgeting processes </li><li> Prepare capital expenditure requests with supporting documentation </li><li> Partner with District Managers to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making </li><li> Communicate financial performance and key metrics to cross-functional teams </li><li> Coordinate and support audits and other compliance-related activities </li><li> Lead inventory counts and related reporting processes </li><li> Train, coach, and develop team members while setting performance goals </li><li> Provide financial training to non-financial personnel </li><li> Participate in special projects as assigned </li><li>Travel to other office locations as needed</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics </li><li> CPA certification preferred</li><li> 4–7 years of relevant accounting and leadership experience </li><li> Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financials to operations </li><li> Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines </li><li> Self-starter with a strong work ethic and initiative to learn </li></ul><h3><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li> Target base salary around $100,000 (flexible based on experience) </li><li> Annual target bonus of 20% plus 20% RSU bonus.</li><li> Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and flexible PTO </li><li> Strong emphasis on career growth and internal advancement </li></ul><h3><strong>What Sets This Role Apart</strong></h3><ul><li> True business partner role working directly with operational leadership </li><li> Visibility across multiple locations and leadership teams </li><li> Opportunity to lead and develop a team </li><li> Exposure to strategic decision-making and financial planning </li><li> Culture that values performance, growth, and collaboration </li></ul><p>If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical accounting expertise with operational strategy and leadership, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.</p><p><strong>Our client requires this candidate to physically sit in Heber Springs, AR. </strong><em>If interested in learning more about this opportunity, apply directly or reach out to Bailey Clark via LinkedIn.
