Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, or designee, the Medical Director works closely with Operations and Nursing to support the clinicians and clinical teams and site leadership/management team (i.e., Nurse Manager, Practice Manager) in overseeing the day-to-day administration and delivery of patient care at all Optimus sites providing Adult Medicine services. Works with the Practice Managers and Administrative Assistant/Clinician Liaison to establish and maintain clinician schedules including on-call schedules as indicated, clinical assignments, and rotations; supports Practice Manager in providing coverage for scheduled and unscheduled absences; works collaboratively with other members of senior staff on operational policies and procedures.
