Accounting Specialist - $21-$25/hr DOEMonday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.Aventure Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join a growing team at a well-established auto parts distribution center in Spencer, IA with more than 90 years of industry success. This role supports the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and excellent internal and external customer service.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Set up and maintenance of customer accounts</li><li>Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments</li><li>Apply Accounts Receivable payments to correct customer accounts</li><li>Support fellow accounting team in development and execution of internal Accounts Receivable processes</li><li>Scan and file of accounting related documents</li><li>Assist with the distribution of incoming mail</li><li>Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary</li><li>Collaborate closely with fellow Accounting team members and Store Operations team to ensure we are meeting the demands of our customers, both internal and external</li><li>Deliver exceptional accounting services to our stores, internal departments, and external customers</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all assigned duties</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>A minimum of two years prior accounting experience</li><li>Computer and accounting system proficiency is needed. Previous Excel experience required</li><li>Ability to shift between the “usual” aspects of the job and the unique daily needs of the team</li><li>Desire to be a team member within a group that prides itself on providing solutions to our customers while taking care of each other and our customers</li><li>Positive and professional attitude</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions from the phone</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to use and manage a multi-line phone</li></ul>Benefits & Pay:<ul><li>Starting Pay: $21.10 per hour </li><li>Paid Every Friday!
