Has ability to hire, fire and discipline. Typically reporting to hospital COO.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>Ensures personnel maintain, operate, test, inspect and perform preventative maintenance checks and repair medical electronic/ hydraulic, pneumatic equipment. Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data. Processes all equipment repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all equipment. Submits reports, purchase orders and records. Schedules work assignments. </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Education<br/>Required:  Must have an Associate degree in Biomed/related field or equivalent military training certificate. <br/>Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in Biomed or related field.</p><p>Experience<br/>Required:  10 years in Biomedical Department. 5 years in supervision.</p><h3>Organization Description</h3><p>The Hospitals of Providence have faithfully been serving our community since 1902.
