This experience could come from: (1) working in a similar financial role already, either on the "buyside" or "sell-side" in the healthcare/therapeutics space; (2) working in the biopharmaceutical industry (ideally in a business function such as sales & marketing, business development, portfolio assessment, R&D and medical affairs); or (3) working at a consulting firm where clients are biopharmaceutical companies.
