<h2>Full job description</h2>Job SummaryLiberty Cruise is currently hiring for a Boat Captain to join our team in the NYC area! The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of our 100 ton passenger vessels in the NY harbor. We also require captains to take the utmost care when it comes to customer service.Compensation<ul><li>$40.00 - $50.00 per hour</li><li>Weekly performance bonus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Health Care, Dental, and Vision</li><li>Vacation Days</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must possess a 100-ton USCG masters license</li><li>2 years experience operating passengers boats in NY harbor</li><li>First aid & CPR</li><li>TWIC</li><li>MROP (marine radio operators permit)</li></ul>Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate our vessels in all sea and weather conditions in a safe manner, docking, undocking, and navigating in NY harbor</li><li>Conduct pre-cruise checks and meetings and communicate to crew all necessary information regarding the cruise (special needs, boarding procedures, etc.)</li><li>Ensure that staff and guests adhere to all safety standards and procedures.</li><li>Ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, and other federal and local rules and regulations.</li></ul>About UsLiberty Cruise is a New York-based brand offering a variety of public and private events and cruises.
