Key Responsibilities: • Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building • Calibrate instruments and tools required for job responsibilities • Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke and other safety systems within the structure • Evacuate building in the event of an emergency • Maintain corporate safety procedures at all times and comply with access control regulations • Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects • Receive and respond to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on their premises • Communicate with facilities management about any work that requires outside expert assistance.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification: • Minimum 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED, or currently enrolled in a technical degree program in good standing, and up to 3 years of general building maintenance experience; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed • Capable of basic installation and repairs to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, custodial, and other areas as needed.
