Other assignments include, but are not limited to, providing assistance and support to develop procedures for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative and/or operational procedures and control systems, as well as collecting, extracting, compiling, and recording data/information, conducting research, identifying problems, and supporting day-to-day operations. Significant investments are advancing the research and development of autonomous vehicles, environmentally friendly electric aircraft, high-speed and long-endurance solar-powered aircraft, and new types of space vehicles.
