Operates, maintains, and performs minor repairs on equipment and systems such as various mowing and trimming equipment, sprayers, hand and power tools, trucks, backhoes, irrigation systems, park and/or construction related equipment; performs basic preventative maintenance on same, including lubricating moving parts, changing filters, adjusting and changing belts, filters, and checking fluid levels. Performs a variety of carpentry assignments involving park facilities and structures; installs, repairs, replaces, or fabricates cabinets, shelves, and other wooden structures and fixtures, doors, windows, and wall partitions; performs basic concrete, masonry, roofing and metal work including fabrication and welding.
