Hold a valid Commercial Drivers License with appropriate endorsements issued by the state of Indiana or another state. Receive permit from license branch to allow driving on bus prior to skills test.

Job Description:<ul><li>Drive students K-12 to and from school</li><li>Training provided!</li><li>Positions range from 3 to 4 hours per day</li><li>Hourly rate $23.60-$26.10 depending on route</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Pass CDL physical (two forms required)</li><li>Pass written test at license branch for "P" and "S" endorsement</li><li>Receive permit from license branch to allow driving on bus prior to skills test</li><li>Complete skills test</li><li>Must complete a three day bus safety education course by the Department of Education</li><li>Must complete supervised four (4) hour observation and eight (8) hours driving with LCSC</li><li>Must hold Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B with "P" and "S" endorsement)</li><li>Must complete and clear expanded criminal history background check and drug screen</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Be of good moral character</li><li>Does not use intoxicating liquor during school hours or in excess at any time</li><li>Not addicted to any narcotic drug</li><li>At least 21 years of age</li><li>Hold a valid Commercial Drivers License with appropriate endorsements issued by the state of Indiana or another state</li><li>Possess a safe driving record</li></ul>

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
As a Transportation Associate, you'll play a crucial role in managing transportation operations, driving community vehicles, and assisting residents with appointments and errands. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for service, safety, and logistics, and who are committed to helping residents maintain their independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Drive community vehicles by safely transporting residents, staff, and running errands while adhering to all regulations and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain vehicles by following scheduled maintenance calendars and Trilogy’s policies to keep them in excellent working condition.</li><li>Track and report by maintaining accurate mileage logs and immediately reporting any incidents, accidents, or malfunctions to your supervisor.</li><li>Coordinate schedules by working closely with your supervisor to manage transportation schedules and ensure residents’ appointments and transportation needs are met.</li><li>Assist residents with appointments by accompanying them to doctor visits and staying with them until they return to the campus, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred</li><li>0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred</li><li>Valid and unencumbered driver's license required – ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Search.</li><li>Must possess and maintain the appropriate certifications required for transporting residents safely in compliance with state regulations</li><li>Minimum age requirement of 25 due to insurance purposes.</li></ul>
