The position supports Fleet operations through analysis of Tactical Decision Aids (TDAs) and Post-Mission Analysis (PMA) functions, and develops analytical inputs for CONOPS, CONEMP/CONOES, Fleet TACMEMOs, NTTPs, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), mission readiness assessments, risk and cost analyses, requirements development, and technology assessments. Responsibilities include conducting doctrine research, development, and analysis; applying Operations Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA) methods such as statistical analysis, decision theory, mathematical programming, and probabilistic modeling; and supporting studies of concepts, system designs, and emerging technologies.
