Job Description: Under the supervision of the manager and working within their scope of practice as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist II assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or restore physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction in patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status from injury, disease or other causes. This includes guiding patients through Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and working with the patient to establish their lymphedema maintenance program after treatment, including measuring for custom and ready-to-wear garments, developing appropriate home exercise programs, and assisting in the process of obtaining specialized equipment such as pneumatic compression pumps.
