Additionally, the Dean oversees short-term, non-credit contract/customized training, occupational licensing, certification and professional development and continuing education programming delivered through the Offices of Workforce Development and Employee Services, and Lifelong Learning The dean is responsible for oversight of Whitman Center operations, developing relationships with area business and industry, and cultivation of opportunities for entrepreneurship. Assures quality education services for students are being delivered by administering the division curriculum as it pertains to the catalog, brochures and flyers, changes to the courses and programs, proposals to the Curriculum Committee, course outlines, class syllabi, textbook selection, activities of the program advisory committees and program reviews as necessary.
