Ability to operate equipment to perform the essentials functions of the job (i.e. various splicing tools, test equipment, telephone, computer/laptop, company vehicle, backhoe, cable plow, megger, ohmmeter, pusher, 3M modular splicing unit, locator, DAVAR test equipment, line truck, semi-truck, trailers, CSU and/or aerial devices, various hand/power, splicing and testing tools, shovel and rake, transmission, noise and isolation equipment, attenuation test sets, OTDR, fusion splicing and mechanical fiber splicing tools). · Additional equipment certification/licensing/experience is preferred (i.e., Nortel, DMS10, Adtran, AFC/Tellabs, Calix, Go Digital, Acetelis, Pair Gain, Multiplexers, Seiscor/Pulsecom S24DU/COT, Fiber, Optics, etc.).
