ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, technical procedures and specifications to assist with or install new envelope converting machines - including blank feed sections, die-cutting/creasing stations, gumming and tacking units, folding and seam-forming sections, and window-patching units - and upgrade as required; responsible for installations of various sections and complete envelope lines and adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation. Job Description: The Field Service Technician - Mechanical position will perform mechanical field service work in a computer-based environment, assisting and troubleshooting with engineers, while working as a team, to test, install, start-up and demonstrate BW Converting envelope converting equipment - including die-cutting/blanking units, gumming and moistening stations, folding and seam-forming sections, and window-patching units - along with training customers on the operation and mechanical maintenance of this equipment.
