Lead Budtenders/Key Holders are individuals that have not only mastered the Budtender role but also display strong leadership and critical thinking skills taking on a leadership support role within the store setting. LEAD BUDTENDER / KEY HOLDER Lead Budtenders/Key Holders are individuals that have not only mastered the Budtender role but also display strong leadership and critical thinking skills taking on a leadership support role within the store setting. Lead Budtenders are the example for all Budtenders in their product knowledge, customer service abilities and general can-do attitude.  In addition to the Budtender function these individuals also take on additional responsibilities in the areas of: general store operations, inventory management, staff training and store supervision.  As a Lead Budtender/Key Holder you are a vital part of store leadership to ensure the location runs like a well-oiled machine. Roles and Responsibilities Customer Service <ul><li style="text-align:justify">Lead Budtender’s are the example, alongside Store Managers, in setting the standard for other staff in providing a friendly and welcoming environment, addressing customer questions and concerns with a positive attitude, and creating a positive experience to encourage return customers.  </li><li style="text-align:justify">Treat all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Offer expert cannabis product information and guidance, answering questions and helping customers find the best possible product for them. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Maintain a clean and organized store environment to create an enjoyable shopping experience. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Handles customer complaints within established Company guidelines in a courteous and professional manner, with a focus on de-escalation.   </li></ul> Cash Handling, Transactions and Point of Sales Systems:<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Be proficient in POS software and cash handling procedures as established. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Support the team in training staff in proper cash handling and transaction procedures</li><li style="text-align:justify">Assist Budtenders within cart discounts or voids when necessary. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Help colleagues with advanced cash register functionalities for smoother transactions.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Able to accurately create/update and train others on customer profiles within the Point of Sales system. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Able to assist Store Manager in entering new Inventory into POS. </li></ul> Inventory Management <ul><li style="text-align:justify">Support the organization of products for easy restocking and accessibility, including but not limited to proper labeling and physical organization of items in backstock to maintain a clean and organized stockroom.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Collaborate with the store level and operations level teams to ensure accurate inventory levels.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Assist Management with regular store inventories and identifying and correcting any known issues. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked during operations and overall appearance is clean and organized.</li></ul> Training/Leadership/Store Management<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Ability to verify customer identification/paperwork and train others to ensure every customer is legal to shop.  </li><li style="text-align:justify">Able to prioritize audiences and tasks including: customers, vendors, phone calls, or special projects. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Assist Store Manager with daily cash reconciliation and reporting.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Assist in ensuring store compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including safety and health.  </li></ul> Work Experience <ul><li style="text-align:justify">One or more years in a cannabis retail/customer service role required, including cannabis product knowledge, some metrc experience and cannabis POS experience. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Some supervisory or leadership experience a plus.  </li><li style="text-align:justify">Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and strong interpersonal skills.  </li><li style="text-align:justify">Strong cash handling skills and knowledge of basic arithmetic.  </li><li style="text-align:justify">Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Strong customer Service skills. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Basic Microsoft office experience including Word and Excel.</li></ul> What You Should Bring:<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Current MED badge required</li><li style="text-align:justify">Valid ID, 21 and over only. </li><li style="text-align:justify">High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Fun attitude and work ethic.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude is a must.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Sense of responsibility to abide by all company policies and procedures as well as compliance with all local, state and federal regulations</li><li style="text-align:justify">An eye for style, maintaining a neat and well-groomed appearance, as well as good personal hygiene. BUDTENDER The customer experience at Vital Cannabis all starts and ends with the Budtender.  As a Budtender you are on the front lines of creating an exceptional customer experience through product education and recommendations, a pleasant and friendly demeaner and focus on the customer needs. The budtender is responsible for promoting a work environment that is positive, fun, productive and rewarding for both the team and customers.   Roles and Responsibilities Customer Service <ul><li style="text-align:justify">Quickly greet and assist all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.</li></ul><ul><li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrates a positive attitude toward all customers. Always practice exceptional customer service.
