Turning on Slack notifications and acknowledging procedure updates; Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based upon their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis; Staying updated on new cannabis products on the market, as well as the latest industry trends, by researching and trying new products; Processing customer payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system; Ensuring that the dispensary is clean, well organized, and well stocked at all times with both cannabis and non-cannabis items; Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis items; Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required by Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulations; Checking customer identification documents to verify legal age; Following procedures and the direction of management at all times; Helping with opening and closing tasks or any other assigned duty. High school diploma or GED; General knowledge of cannabis; Knowledge of OLCC sales limits; Customer service skills; Ability to work quickly and accurately; The ability to stand for long periods of time; The ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
