POSITION TITLE:   Captain REPORTING TO:	General Manager LOCATION:	Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises    Hagadone Marine Group represents The Hagadone Corporation's nautical business interests in retail boat sales, service, construction, storage, and recreation throughout North Idaho, Spokane, Western Montana and the Inland Northwest. Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises is an integral part of HMG providing the highest quality cruises and catering events on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Key Responsibility Areas <ul><li>Hold all required credentials </li><li>Maintain safety and security of passengers and vessel </li><li>Provide efficient, courteous service to our Guests </li></ul>    Major Duties   <ul><li>General Administration </li><li>Understanding and accountability for all regulations associated with position </li><li>Possess necessary skills to operate vessel and safety equipment </li><li>Able to access all machinery spaces </li><li>Accountable for acceptable standard of vessel and product appearance at all times </li><li>Good balance, steadiness and coordination </li><li>Provide efficient, courteous service to our Guests </li><li>Greet Guests upon boarding </li></ul>Work as a part of a team. <ul><li>Possess an attitude of willingness to overcome all challenges </li><li>Possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude </li><li>While a uniform is provided, a neat, crisp, professional appearance is essential </li><li>Effectively supervise, lead, and communicate with crew </li><li>Ability to assess various situations and react appropriately to achieve expected results </li><li>Enthusiastically promote all sources of revenue generation </li><li>Utilize great communication skills with other team members, management, and Guests </li><li>Accountable to assure prepared boat for event, perform routine maintenance, and take appropriate action to assure mechanical reliability </li><li>Convey a calm and organized disposition even when busy     </li></ul>Schedule Requirements and Physical Demands: <ul><li>Able to work an average of 50 hours per week </li><li>Able to work a variety of shifts, which include weekends, nights, days, and holidays </li><li>Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time </li><li>Able to walk on tile, carpet, and up and down stairs </li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours </li><li>Capacity to work long periods of time, up to 12 hours </li></ul>
