The Mechanic 1 systematically diagnoses, trouble-shoots, repairs, and replaces defective components on the following: passenger cars & vans; limousines, funeral coaches, light, medium & heavy-duty trucks; specialized vehicles, utility & heavy-duty trailers; agricultural tractors, back hoes, loaders, trenchers, forklifts, impactors, turf vacuum units, and other miscellaneous equipment. Performs all types of intermediate maintenance, diagnoses, inspections, evaluations, and repairs to faulty systems, such as hydraulic or air brakes; front and rear suspensions; manual and power steering systems; gas or diesel power trains; cooling fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems, and other related systems not listed using the proper electrical, or mechanical tools and equipment.
