p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. • Prepares patients for providers including greeting patients, patient check in and checkout, questioning patients as to problems, recording chief complaint on chart, getting vital signs and other lab work as indicated, and preparing patients for individual treatment rooms and appropriate exams. • Collects viable specimens from the clinics patients, performs all in-house testing, prepares specimens, records for outside lab procedures, and records lab results.
