The Mass Care Coordinator works across county departments, municipalities, nonprofit and voluntary organizations, community partners, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain capabilities related to emergency sheltering, mass care, emergency assistance, reunification, feeding, donations and volunteer coordination, and support for individuals with access and functional needs. Planning & Capability Development: Develop, write, implement, and maintain the Emergency Management plans for the County and Human Services, to include volunteer and donations management, Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Mass Care Annex with specific shelter plans, reunification, and Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) planning.
