Position Highlights: The Registered Nurse in the BMT Treatment Center provides nursing support to patients in any stage of the blood and marrow transplant or cellular immunotherapy process, most of in the form of patient assessment and education during clinic visits and via phone call, including management of patient requests, such as refills, follow up on patient care issues as needed with provider and primary nurse. The Registered Nurse in the BMT Treatment Center provide hands-on nursing care to patients in any stage of the blood and marrow transplant or cellular immunotherapy process, including patient assessment and education, triage, administration of chemotherapy, blood products, cellular product infusions (transplants),and various other medications.
