Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Cranston, RI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!  Job Scope:         <ul><li>Layout materials</li><li>Erect residential or commercial framework; concrete forms, walls & roofs</li><li>Install doors frames, doors, windows, cabinets, molding & trim</li><li>Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building plans to determine material requirements and dimensions</li><li>Safely operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and pneumatic nailer's, while maintaining tools</li><li>Estimate material needs, troubleshoot issues, and mentor apprentices</li><li>Adhere to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), ensuring a safe job site and proper use of safety gear</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must have proven experience as a journeyman carpenter, usually verified by completion of an apprenticeship program.</li><li>Must have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction method</li><li>Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), stand for long periods, work at heights, and work in varied weather conditions.</li><li>Must have basic hand tools and PPE</li><li>Ability to read blueprints</li></ul>
