Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of five years in an outpatient hand therapy setting License: Valid state Occupational Therapy license Certifications: BLS, Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, but not required Must-Have: - Expertise in splint fabrication for post-operative cases - Experience treating a wide range of orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses - Ability to work with a diverse patient population, from pre-teens through geriatric individuals Description: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in an outpatient hand therapy setting. Experience treating a wide range of orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses is required, including but not limited to post-operative conditions, acute injuries, workers compensation cases, and chronic disorders.
