The Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator, in collaboration with facility leadership, is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the facility's education, orientation, competency validation, and staff development programs in accordance with federal regulations, Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL) requirements, and facility policies. The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the Iowa-approved Nurse Aide Training Program in accordance with Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL), Iowa Administrative Code, and federal regulations (42 CFR §483.152–154).
