The Maintenance Worker III performs a variety of skilled labor assisting in the cleaning, maintenance and repair of streets, storm drains, sewer lines, maintenance of airport, parks and other public grounds and facilities, construction and maintenance of water or wastewater mains, and maintenance of public facilities, lakes, and dam. Performs maintenance work setting forms, mixing and pouring concrete, spreading and laying asphalt, and spreading crack seal for the maintenance and repair of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters or streets; operates air and jack hammer to break out old concrete or asphalt when making repairs.
