The Department of Orthopedics provides treatment for debilitating musculoskeletal disorders, such as sport-related injuries and degenerative diseases of the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle and hand, bone fractures, trauma, joint diseases and injuries, and spinal injuries and deformities. As an orthopedic department PA, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the orthopedic surgery team, including floor management of admitted patients, responding to orthopedic surgery consults in the ER, and first assisting in the OR.
