Use of Department Specific Tools and Equipment: Walker, crutches, cane, wheelchair, lift equipment, hospital beds, commodes, goniometer, traction units, ultrasound machine, electrical stimulation machines, iontophoresis, vasopneumatic pump, cuff weights, pulley weights, isokinetic exercise equipment, and general office equipment (telephone, computer, facsimile machine and copier). The Physical Therapist Resident/ Fellow assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that assist patients and clients to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
