Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prospecting and developing new business opportunities within your territoryGrowing equipment sales and rental revenue within your territoryMaintaining relationships with existing customersConducting regular jobsite and customer visitsIdentifying customer equipment needs and recommending the right sales or rental solutionsPromoting equipment sales, rentals, parts, and service solutionsGenerating rental opportunities for short-term, seasonal, and emergency equipment requirementsPreparing quotations and following up on opportunitiesManaging territory activity through CRM toolsWorking closely with internal rental, parts, and service teams to support customersWHY THIS OPPORTUNITY IS DIFFERENT.Many sales positions focus solely on selling equipment. Preferred qualifications:Outside sales, account management, or territory management experienceExperience in construction equipment, equipment rental, industrial equipment, material handling, building products, contractor supply, commercial truck, agricultural equipment or related industries is preferredExperience developing new business and maintaining customer relationshipsValid driver's licenseAbility to obtain a DOT medical card (Non-CDL)Strong computer skillsExcellent customer service skillsTeam-player able to manage multiple prioritiesCandidates with experience in construction equipment sales, equipment rental sales, industrial sales, contractor supply sales, or business-to-business outside sales are strongly encouraged to apply.
