li>Provides individualized physical therapy treatments including but not limited to: Therapeutic exercise including aerobic capacity conditioning, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises, gait and locomotion training, neuromotor development training, relaxation, strength, power, and endurance training

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly .

li>Demonstrates the ability to perform the following tasks without posing a threat to the health or safety of him/herself or others without risk to self, co-workers, caregivers, or patient; lift, turn, move position, and transport the patient into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. The responsibility of this position includes the day to day therapeutic intervention of appropriate individuals in the rehab environment under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist, in accordance with the policies and procedures as established by the facility, Medicare, private insurance, and Client.

p> Follows the safety guidelines and directives for the student in regards to functional mobility and orientation (i.e. transfers, wheelchair or walker mobility, etc.) and exercises provided by other related service providers (i.e. occupational therapist, vision itinerant, hearing itinerant, speech and language pathologist, orientation and mobility instructor, etc.). This includes, but is not limited to the following areas: school function, range of motion, strength, positioning, contracture management, conducting home assessments, discharge planning, development of maintenance programs and other related client care issues.

li> Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term functional recovery . Working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent.
