Conduct NDT inspections including: • Magnetic Particle (MT): rotors, casings, vane carriers, blades, fusion lines, hot MTDye Penetrant (PT): removed/installed blades, retaining rings, faceplates, generator dovetails, vane carriers, wedges, and hardware; operate penetrant line • Ultrasonic (UT): bearings, braze coupons, tenons, installed blade pins, weld build‑ups, phased array weld build‑ups, phased array L‑O steeples, flaw depth sizing, retaining ring forgings/bar stock; follow all UT safety requirements • Perform hardness testing using Equotip, Wilson, and Clark equipment • Prepare NCRs and complete all steps in I&T Plans • Communicate professionally with team members and support workforce skill development • Perform other functions as assigned. Desired Qualifications: Significant technical experience (approximately 5 or more years) with a variety of power generating equipment (steam and gas) Strong math skills and the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations Ability to work independently and with others under stressful conditions Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to solve complex problem Ability to document and follow proper procedures and train others to do so.
