Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG Must-Have: Strong PCU background within the last year ED experience preferred but not required First-timers accepted with EPIC experience Description: No Thanksgiving requested time off. The patient population includes: - Chest Pain - Syncope - Heart Failure - Sepsis - Overdose - GI Bleed - COPD - Pneumonia - Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Oncology, Orthopedic as overflow - Post-catheterization with stents only - ICD/Pacer insertions - Cardioversions The nurse will manage and titrate common drips, including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine.
