About the Job: PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Charge Nurse (RN) oversees assigned unit/department for assigned shift and provides direct client care while supervising care treatment and services provided by other members of the nursing team to assure optimal client outcomes. Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides direct care for clients as well as monitors and coordinates other nurses and members of the staff on the daily medical or behavioral health care activities of the unit.
