p>Duties and Responsibilities: • Meet all of the Technician III requirements plus demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot any product to component level • Demonstrate some circuit analysis capabilities and be able to assist the Engineers in resolving production failures as well as pilot run debugging • Experience in RF, digital and analog circuitry • Be familiar with EIA/TIA and MPS test methods • Able to program products including flashing firmware updates, updating codeplugs and product features using internal software tools • Must be able to solder per company guidelines • Must be able to assemble and debug prototype assemblies • Must be able to execute formal software test-plans and take initiative in spotting subnormal radio behavior whether or not it is addressed in the test-plan • Able to assist design engineers in component selection • Familiar with Bill-of-Materials structures and Engineering Change notice processes • All duties assigned by Supervisor.

• Work typically takes place in a normal production environment requiring walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, hearing ando • Handling - test equipment, large/small tool, radios, parts, keyboard manipulation • Sitting - 8 hours per day • Talking - communicate troubleshooting problems • Vision - ability to focus on monitors, test equipment and work with the aid of a microscope • Lifting - 0-40 pounds • Operate a PC and other office equipment • Travel between floors and office buildings may be required • Environmental conditions: noise, vibration, oils, solvents, chemicals.
