Associate degree with at least 3 years of laboratory experience</li><li>Desired technical competencies (not all required): LC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, ICP, Empower, Karl Fischer, dissolution, IR, titrations, and common wet chemical testing</li></ul>Technical Information:<ul><li>Will train on first shift!! Job Description: 
The Chemist is responsible for the coordination and organization of stability or reference standard studies to ensure uninterrupted daily operations associated with procurement, dispensing, studying, analyzing, and reporting of those studies while assuring compliance for Stability and Reference Standard Operations. This person will interface with various groups to request samples, resolve issues, and/or implement new studies. Responsibilities:<ul><li> Provide timely stability services to ensure required studies are initiated according to filing strategies, and the needs of the business operations.</li><li> This includes ensuring stability protocols are written, material is obtained for studies and placed in chambers in a timely manner.</li><li> Revise studies as required to ensure no interruption or exceptions to protocols result, which includes loading, reviewing, and verifying static tables to ensure accuracy</li><li> Review, analyze and trend results to detect potential significant negative or aberrant results or trends.</li><li> Communicate concerns with management, customers, product quality, and laboratory personnel to ensure appropriate actions are taken and exception reports are initiated.</li><li> Compile clear and concise graphical and tabular data summaries.</li><li> Author, review and approve change control documents.</li></ul>

What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.Schedule<ul><li>40 hours per week</li><li>Sunday night/Monday morning - Friday</li><li>Typical shift is Midnight - 8:30am but must be willing to work other shifts as needed! Training will typically be from 4am - 12:30pm.</li><li>Must be willing to work weekends if needed by business needs</li><li>Must be able to work overnight shift as facility operates at night.</li><li>Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, schedules, holidays, days and overtime as needed.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Manufactures radioactive isotopes (includes synthesis set up, hot cell manipulations, distribution)</li><li>Conducts quality control testing of each batch (utilizing gas chromatograph, dose calibrator, multi-channel analyzer, TLC plate scanner, high pressure liquid chromatograph, analytical balance, PTS, laminar flow hood and fume hood)</li><li>Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5, ISO 7, and ISO 8 environments</li><li>Works in ISO 7 cleanroom to make product vials and customer vials for use in drug production</li><li>Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs</li><li>Demonstrates strong documentation practices, oral communication, and writing skills. Performs clerical and administrative tasks, including maintenance of daily production records, report preparation and maintenance records</li><li>Manages SAP Inventory (includes receiving materials, properly inspecting materials for use, and maintaining proper cycle counts)</li><li>Performs daily radiation safety tasks, along with general lab cleaning</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues</li><li>Advanced chromatography skills</li><li>Provide feedback on method development around time of Tech Transfer</li><li>Communication with external innovator/sponsor</li><li>Ability to lead; judgement to prioritize quickly</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
