You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that <strong>require one hour of uninterrupted work</strong>, though many are shorter.</p><h4 style="text-align:center"><em>What you'll bring</em></h4><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> a BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.</li><li><strong>Professional Experience:</strong> experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.</li><li><strong>Technical Mastery:</strong> deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.</li><li><strong>Safety & Compliance:</strong> a thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).</li><li><strong>Analytical Precision:</strong> the ability to identify errors in complex IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.</li><li>A PayPal account to receive payment from our clients</li></ul><h4 style="text-align:center"><em>What you'll be doing in the role</em></h4><ul><li><strong>Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry:</strong> review model responses to advanced chemistry queries for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning.</li><li><strong>Fact-Check Reactions & Formulas:</strong> validate AI-generated chemical reactions, balancing equations, and ensuring proposed synthetic routes are viable and safe.</li><li><strong>Audit Technical Documentation:</strong> review model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, Mass Spec) for accuracy.</li><li><strong>Annotate Molecular Data:</strong> identify and correct errors in SMILES strings, 2D/3D molecular representations, and property predictions.</li><li><strong>Safety Monitoring:</strong> ensure AI outputs do not provide instructions for the synthesis of hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances.</li></ul><h4 style="text-align:center"><em>Why Prolific is a great platform to join as a Participant</em></h4><p>Joining our platform as a Prolific participant will give you the chance to influence the AI models of the future using your professional expertise.
