Topics covered in CHM 134/135 include an introduction to stoichiometry, atomic structure, chemical bonding, properties and reactions of inorganic compounds, introductory thermodynamics, acids and bases, and oxidation-reduction reactions. The adjunct instructor will be responsible for facilitating all in-class instruction, grading, utilizing the learning management system to share course information (including grades) with students, and for communicating grades to the full-time faculty member coordinating the course.
