Position Summary:
Working with part of the Administrative Dyad for the Division of Hospital-based Care, the Division Chief shares joint accountability for the Divisions outcomes.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- In collaboration with the Administrative Director or Hospital Based practices oversee the development of all Capital and Operational Budgets for the hospital-based departments.
This role serves as a trusted business partner to Operations, Project Management, Preconstruction, Finance, Legal Counsel, insurance brokers, and surety partners to ensure projects are delivered while effectively managing contractual and financial risk. The Chief of Hospital Medicine at Central Maine Healthcare (CMH) provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for Hospital Medicine services across CMHs acute care hospitals. This physician leader is responsible for advancing high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care while supporting CMHs mission to improve the health of our communities through accessible, compassionate, and coordinated care.
li>Working closely with clinical and operational leaders across Tufts Medicine, the CVSL PE will ensure Tufts Medicine is staying at the forefront of alternative payment models and maintaining value added relationships with industry and payor partners, and in doing so, leading the service line in the development of strategies that focus on continuous quality improvement, efficient clinical delivery, and maximizing patient value.
