Assist children in self-help and social skills while providing a climate of respect for each childs individual personality, physical characteristics and traits, culture, language and ethnic characteristics, family structure, developmental needs and behavior. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, including those from a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff.
