Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates activities related to training of new graduates, experienced nurses, and ancillary staff new to the unit/department based on collection of data that is used systematically and purposefully to ensure relevant and evidence-based learning for each clinician. Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to fulfill the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty and partner for practice transitions.
