The Art Program Assistant's scope of work will include conducting site walks to verify and update artwork information, including photographs, locations, artist names, titles, media, and labels; organizing and maintaining the art database in Smartsheet; transferring records from paper files to Box and Smartsheet; confirming artwork locations in on- and off-site storage; inspecting storage areas and recommending opportunities for consolidation; researching missing collection information; identifying missing labels; and documenting visible artwork damage. The Art Program Assistant will gain hands-on experience managing a healthcare art collection that enhances patient, visitor, faculty, and staff environments while collaborating with Campus Planning staff, facilities teams, and various university departments.
