Under general supervision, inspects moderately complex plant and collection facilities construction work performed by contractors to ensure contractual compliance with plans, specifications, codes, regulations, and OC San safety requirements; directs and guides contractors to achieve quality control and proper use of materials; prepares a variety of reports and documents; and performs duties as assigned. This includes work involving reinforced concrete, HDPE, VCP, PVC, SST, masonry, wood and structural steel framing, piping and mechanical systems, painting and architectural finishes, valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment, as well as sewer lines, chemical lines, water lines, foul air lines, pump stations, structural piles, earthwork, and paving.
