Performs various custodial duties, which include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, cleaning windows and other glass surfaces, dusting and polishing furniture and other surfaces, wiping walls, cleaning window blinds, dusting baseboards, removing trash and emptying recycling containers, sweeping and mopping floors, scrubbing / polishing floors, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming / spot cleaning / shampooing carpets, etc. Serves as lead worker for assigned custodial staff; coordinates daily work assignments, provides training and instruction, monitors work progress, and communicates staffing, performance, safety, and operational concerns to the Custodial Supervisor.
