Overview:
We are searching for a Maintenance Technician for our 200 unit Fairington of Lexington apartment community. *We are offering a one-time $1,000 hiring bonus for this position (paid after 6 months of employment)*   The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the physical condition of the exterior and interior of the property and provide resident satisfaction.  

Responsibilities:
 The Maintenance Technician must be able to perform the following tasks:<ul><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Complete all maintenance requests in an efficient and courteous manner.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Repair, install and maintain basic appliances such as refrigerator, range, disposal, dishwasher, washer, and dryer.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Repair carpeting and tile.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots including snow removal.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Repair and maintain building exteriors and interior common areas.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Complete preventative maintenance activities.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Cleaning and housekeeping of common areas.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Prepare vacant apartment for market ready condition, may include cleaning and painting.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Provide resident support and respond to after-office hours emergency calls.</li></ul> 

Qualifications:
 <ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Able to work overtime and emergency call in.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Fluent in Spanish is a plus.</li></ul>Glick is a great place to work with a family-oriented culture. The Maintenance Technician is responsible day-to-day maintenance operations and physical appearance of the property.  Ideal candidates will have prior experience in apartment or property maintenance. Job Details: <ul><li>Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week) </li><li>Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday 8:00am-4:30pm Friday 8:00am 12:00pm</li><li>Compensation: $20.50 per hour</li></ul>What We Offer: <ul><li>Sign-On Bonus: $250 (Payable on first paycheck.
